Robbie was like a brother to my son Phil. We enjoyed having him at our house all during their School years. He was so much fun to be around. We thought very highly of his parents and he always had so much respect for us. We loved him and I know my son will miss him dearly. They always tried to see each other at Christmas when Phil and Angie were in Ky. for a visit. He was a very special young man.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Peggy and to all of Rob’s family and friends. I have been trying to write a note for two days but can never get it finished, how do you describe the loss of such a good friend. And it was so easy to be Rob’s friend, he demanded nothing but gave so much – it always made me laugh just thinking of Rob and the times we had, and that laugh. Growing up Rob was like a brother and although I have been gone for quite a few years Rob was the one person that I always saw when I came to town, he always called to stay in touch, he always cared and his friendship has always helped to keep me grounded to my roots. Rob was also such a good friend to all of my family and treated them so well. Rob was genuinely a nice, good person. I don’t know much about life but one thing I know for certain is that my life was made much better by having a friend like Rob in it. Rob - I love you Brother and I will miss you dearly. Until we meet again.

I am hoping that thoughts of what all Robbie meant to you- the good times you shared- will bring comfort and peace to you. Robbie and I met while in Jr high school. Later, when we were about 30 years old we reconnected as friends. Much later, when we were around 47, we reconnected again. Robbie never changed. He made me laugh when I was down. He encouraged me when I didn't think I could accomplish something. He loved his family very much. He will be missed.

Whew!..How memories flood back from years ago when we were young. Jimmy and I express our deepest sympathy to our Cousin Peggy and Lynn. I found a picture of my Dad yesterday and he looked so much like a Lambert. So does Jim. Jim has shared many memories with me in the past couple of days. Pee Wee Football, Florence Lions Baseball, basketball, Young teenage days, church youth group, many meals at Aunt Betty's. Memorie of swimming in the pool in the back yard. Robbie spraining his ankle of the basement steps. Hanging out with the guys. Grandpa Lamberts outings at exploring his carpenter tools. Many Lambert Events when we were young! Memories!...
