Obituary of Renate Jones

Renate Futterer Jones, 67, of Williamstown, died Saturday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a retired bus driver with Kenton County Schools and a member of the Kenton County Fair Board and Kenton County 4-H. Survivors include her husband, Tom Jones; daughters, Deborah Bolte of Burlington, Jennifer Bauer of Independence, Melinda Martino of Morning View and Rebecca Conklin of Florence; sons, Steven Jones and Tony Burden, both of Independence; her mother, Karola Futterer of Pforzheim, Germany; a sister, Gabriel Futterer of Pforzheim; brothers, Karl Heinz Futterer, Norbert Futterer and Klaus Futterer, all of Karlsruhle, Germany; and 13 grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Piner Baptist Church. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society, 6612 Dixie Highway, Suite 2A, Florence, Ky. 41042. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements.
