Obituary of Dorothy Goetz

Dorothy Elizabeth Farrar Goetz, 82, of Florence, died Friday at Villaspring Care Center, Erlanger.
She was a former assistant city clerk with the city of Highland Heights and a member of Florence United Methodist Church and the church's United Methodist Women. Her husband, George Herbert Goetz, died in 2002. A daughter, Lisa Anne Goetz Sand, died in 2003.
Survivors include a son, Vernon Neal Goetz of Villa Hills; sisters, Dolly O'Neal of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Virginia Reising of Highland Heights; a brother, Preston Farrar of Falmouth; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Florence United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery, Union.
