Obituary of Lester Wright

Lester A. Wright, 83, died Monday May 5at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
He was a pipe fitter for Doc Rusk Heating and a World War II Navy veteran.
His daughter, Mary Wright, died previously.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Anna Breeden Wright; daughter, Linda Maxey; sons, Glen "Buddy" Philip and Michael Wright Sr.; sister, Dessie Shepherd; half brother, Ronnie Slater; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesday May 7 with service following at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Wilmington Cemetery, Piner.
