Noel Eugene "Gene" Price, age 75, of Katy, TX formerly of Covington, KY passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 26, 2014. He worked as a truck driver for Grippo Potato Chips. Gene was a big NASCAR fan and he liked bluegrass music, western movies and being retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Price and Florida Whittaker-Price; 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Gene is survived by his wife, Olga Price; daughter, Lisa (Roger) Washnock; step-daughter, Amy (Chad) Cain; sons, Joel (Kim) Price, Gary Price and Roger Price (LouAnn); sister, Phyllis Price; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY on Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 10 am until funeral service begins at 12 noon. Interment will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery in Independence, KY.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association 1885 Dixie Hwy, Suite 250 Ft. Wright, KY 41011.
