Obituary of Gilbert Cox

Gilbert Lee Cox, age 92 of Warsaw KY, formerly of Walton, KY, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Providence Healthcare of Gallatin. Gil was a US Army Veteran and was a retired auctioneer with Garth Semple. He enjoyed reading and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, June Browning Cox in 1976 and a grandson, Daniel Cox in 1990. Gil is survived by sons, Stanley Dwight Cox, Gary Allen Cox and Julian Morris Cox, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
A gathering of friends will take place August 2, 2014 from 3 to 4 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 80 Brookwood Dr., Walton, KY 41094 with a memorial service at 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Walton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
