Obituary of Stacey Powers

Stacey Owen Powers, 54, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at his residence. He worked for Dee Sign in the maintenance department and was a United States Air Force Veteran. Stacey enjoyed trains and especially spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Ruth Hibbs and his father William "Bill" Powers in 2008. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Anita Powers; daughter Christina Halstead of North Charleston, SC; step-son Lewis Potts of London, OH; mother Faye Powers of Independence; sister Valarie Weede of St. Louis, MO; brothers William Charles "JR" of Covington and Neil Allen of Elsmere; and grandchildren Kennedy and Grayson Halstead. A visitation for Stacey will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 from 10AM until 12PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral Services will begin at 12PM, also at the funeral home.
