Obituary of Michael King

Michael King, age 53, of Covington, passed away Sunday, July 27, 2014, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was a Maintenance Technician (for 27 years) for Mubea in Florence and member of the Bradford Masonic Lodge. Mike was an avid fisherman and enjoyed horses and grilling out. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis King of Kenton, KY; father, Clay (Barbara) King of Williamsburg, OH; sisters, Jenny Shelton of Falmouth, KY, Michele King of Independence, and Teri King of Burleson, TX; nieces, Virginia Marks, Amy Carmack, and Sarah Lunsford; and nephew, Brady Lucas. Visitation will be Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the University of Cincinnati Cancer Institute, Barrett Center, 234 Goodman St., Cincinnati, OH 45219.
