Debora Jean Ishmael Cook, 51, died Thursday May 22 at her home. She was a secretary for the Kentucky child support system, a member of Kenton Baptist Church, enjoyed going to the beach and lakes, traveling, and attending her nieces' and nephews' sporting events. Survivors include her husband, Robert N. Cook; sisters, Judy Ishmael, Mary Ponzer and Carolyn Bach; brother, James Ishmael; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday May 27 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday May 28 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Memorials: Simon Kenton Athletics, P.O. Box 719, Independence, KY 41051.
