Obituary of Greta Stephenson

Greta G. Bishop Stephenson, age 65, of Walton, KY, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was preceded in death by her parents, June Clay and Betty Mae Johnting Bishop; sister, Donna June Winters; and brothers, Richard Evan Bishop, Owen Ray Bishop, and Gyneth Clay Bishop. Greta is survived by her husband, James Stephenson; son, James (Angie) Stephenson, Jr.; daughters, Sherry (Aaron) Stephens, and Michelle (T.J.) Schutte; sisters, Betty (Ron) Aylor, Lana (Terry) Drysdale, and Vicky (Paul) Bass; brothers, Ricky (Vicky) Bishop, Rodney Bishop, and Darren Bishop; and twelve grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, October 27, 2014, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Beaver Lick Baptist Church, 11460 U.S. 42, Union, KY 41091. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Big Bone Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center Children's Playground Fund, 1 Medical Village Dr., Edgewood, KY 41017.
