Martie Jean VonLinger Baker, 75, died Sunday, June 29, at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.

She was a former assembler at Johnson Controls, attended Florence Community Church of the Nazarene, loved house boating at Dale Hollow Lake, raising flowers and her grandchildren
Her husband of 52 years, Clayton Baker, died previously.
Survivors include her daughters, Gail Rust and Linda Dawson; son, Clayton Wayne Baker; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, July 1 with services following at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
