Obituary of Stefan Bachert

Stefan Bachert, 82, of Morning View, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Baptist Convalescent Center of Newport. He was a Tool and Die Maker for L & H Tool and Die, was a farmer, and loved the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his sister Eva Bambach and granddaughter Jennifer Fossett. Survivors include his loving wife of 62 years Lea Bachert; 4 daughters Christine (Steve) Knochelman of Morning View, Helene (Gary) Eith of Kirtland, OH, Susanne (George) Bodine of Ft.Wright, and Elizabeth (Stephen)Bates II of Dry Ridge; grandchildren Amanda Knochelman, Andrew Eith, Danielle Averbeck, Ryan Averbeck, Heather Averbeck, Anthony Clouse, Brittany Clouse, Mallie Bates, Brianna Wooten, and Sean Bodine; and great-grandchilden Avery Fossett, Adelynn Eith, Tyler Averbeck, Jep Averbeck, and Ruby Wooten. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 10 AM until time of Memorial Service at 12 Noon at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. He will be laid to rest at a later time. Memorials are suggested to the Baptist Convalescent Center 120 Main St. Newport, KY 41071 in memory of Stefan Bachert.
