George Bauer, 67, of Crittenden, KY, died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at St. Luke Hospital West in Florence, KY. He was born in Germantown, KY on December 14, 1940 the son of the late Jacob H. and Bernice (Weatherington) Bauer, Sr. He is survived by his wife Geneva Cummins Bauer whom he married on May 6, 1961 and a brother, Jacob H. Bauer, Jr. of Brooksville, KY and two sisters: Valera Bay of Foster, KY (Lenoxburg) and Yvonne Hay of Dover, KY (Fernleaf). He was preceded in death by two brothers: Adrian and Joe Bauer and two sisters: Julia Bare and Mary Bauer. Services will be held at 2:30pm Thursday at St. James Catholic Church, Brooksville, KY. Visitation will be from 5:00 �" 8:00pm on Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton, KY and from 12:30 �" 2:30 pm Thursday at the church.
