Obituary of Phyllis Ryle

Phyllis Ann (nee Whitton) Ryle, 80, of Petersburg, KY, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at ST. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. She was a homemaker and throughout her life she enjoyed UK basketball, flowers, watching birds, and making ceramics. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents Stamper and Pearl (nee Shirley) Whitton and her husband Estel Ryle in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Debbie Ryle of Petersburg; son Steve M. (Dede) Ryle, of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren Brittany Bedwell and Steven N. Ryle both of Charlotte, NC; nieces Melody Rankin and Rita Williamson both of Union; sister-in-laws Bettie Dean Ryle of Union and Shirley Ryle of Petersburg; brother-in-law Gary Ryle of Union; special friends Bob and Judy Berg of Petersburg; and many other loving family members and friends. A visitation for Phyllis will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 11AM until the time of the Funeral Service 1PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will be at East Bend Methodist Cemetery in Rabbit Hash.
