Sherry Ann Osborne Compton, 65, died Wednesday, July 9, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.

She was payroll manager for Mazak Corp., Florence, where she worked for about 34 years.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie G. "Butch" Compton Jr.; parents, Rondal and Agnes Osborne; sister, Arleen Hickey; and brother, Rondal Brian Osborne.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 13, and the service noon Monday, July 14, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
