Clara Bernadine Kaiser Smith, age 84 of Florence, formerly of Independence, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015. "Bea" was a self-employed seamstress. She is a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and enjoyed traveling, reading and crocheting. Bea is preceded in death by her sister, Fern Lewis. She is survived by her loving husband, Kenneth Smith, daughters; Linda Schoborg (John), Cynthia Donaldson (Mark) and Rebecca Tomlin (Mike), brother; Donald Kaiser (Jan), 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 9066 Gunpowder Rd., Florence, KY 41042 on January 26, 2015 at 1 PM. Private burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery.
