Charlotte Jones Dean, age 71, of Florence, formerly of Dayton, OH, passed away Friday, February 06, 2015, at Florence Park Care Center. She was a retired LPN for Brookhaven Retirement Community Center in Dayton, OH. Charlotte enjoyed reading and traveling with her friends and family. She is survived by her son, Robert (Missy) Caudill; daughter, Janet Denise Snedegar; grandchildren, Nicolas Caudill and Amber Crabtree; great grandson, Landon Crabtree; sister, Catherine Hensley; and brothers, Jimmy and Jeff Jones. Her husbands, Clayton Caudill and Douglas Dean; sisters, Wilma Sargent, Wanda Deaton, and Clara Thornton; and brothers, Frank and Arnold Jones preceded her in death. Visitation will be Monday, February 9, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with services immediately following at noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
