Corey Burton, age 21 of Petersburg, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Corey was formerly employed at United Parcel Service. Corey loved to record music, write songs and poems. He enjoyed fishing, football, camping, swimming and traveling.
He is survived by his parents; Josef Burton and Dawn Nixson, sisters; Jessika Burton, Cierra Brook Hollins and De'Onna Nixson, grandparents; Carlos and Ruby Burton and Roberta and J.W. Smith, Donald D. and Ruth Hollins and a niece; Brooklyn Nixson.
Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Florence on Monday, February 16, 2015. Visitation will be 10:30 AM till 12:30 PM with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery.
