Obituary of Esther McIntyre

Esther Virginia Wolf Jackson McIntyre, age 90, of Morning View, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. She was a retired Custodian (15 years) for Kenton County Schools at Ryland Elementary and a member of St. Matthew Church in Morning View, KY. Also, she had been active with the Irish Rovers, the Independence Senior Citizens Center, the Kenton Community Fire Department Auxillary, and the Walton Senior Citizens Center.
Her son, Timothy Jackson, husband, Robert "Boots" Jackson, husband, Bill McIntyre, and son, Bob Jackson preceded her in death. She is survived by her children, Pat Schalck, Jack (Sandra) Jackson, Jerry (Debbie) Jackson, Margie (Al) Curran, Jim (Shelia) Jackson, John Jackson, Mary (Randy) Presnell, Sherri (Mike) Moffett, and Sandy Kay (Greg) Lubben; step-son, Leo McIntyre; 32 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, 13782 Decoursey Pike, Morning View, KY 41063.
