Obituary of Christopher Ridener

Christopher "Chris" Boyce Ridener, 28, of Florence, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. He previously attended Ryle High School and had been employed at Dyke Industries as a mill worker. Chris enjoyed sports but especially the Cincinnati Bengals and UK basketball. He also had a love for fishing and hunting. Chris is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Herbert Ridener and Wanda Chapman and maternal grandparents Clayton and Emma Rodgers. Survivors include his parents, Boyce and Deborah "Debbie" Ridener; sisters Stacey and Melissa Ridener; nephews Shawn Switzer, Andy Switzer, and Damien Ridener; one niece, Destiney Ridener; and many other loving family members and friends. A visitation for Chris will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 12PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 2PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will be at Walton cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the family of Christopher Boyce Ridener in C/O Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 8461 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042.
