Obituary of Johnny Armstrong

Johnny Edward Armstrong, 83, died Monday, July 21, at Christ Hospital, Mt. Auburn.
He was director of operations for OK Trucking Co., member of Independence Christian Church, Bradford Masonic Lodge and American Legion Independence Post.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian L. Armstrong; daughters, Cheryl Jones and Crystal Schoborg; sons, Johnny and Jeff Armstrong; brother, Chester Armstrong; sisters, Reek Johnson, Geneva Madonna and Noma Carty; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, July 24, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, at Independence Christian Church. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
