Obituary of Samuel Steinhauser

Samuel Lee Steinhauser, age 57, of Morning View, passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at his residence. Initially, out of high school, Sam worked as a mechanic for Honda of Florence for 16 years. Afterwards, he worked for Mazak, drove a TANK bus, worked at Kentucky Rebuild and was self-employed at Sam's Cycle Care and as a Computer Technician for Affordable Computer. Sam was a motorcycle enthusiast, riding for years after he lost both his legs. He was also a member of New Beginning Evangelical Church and the Christian Motorcycle Association. His parents, Eldred "Wimp" and Roberta Steinhauser preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Rachel (Trevor) Moser; son, Jared Steinhauser, granddaughter, Roberta Moser; and his best friend and companion, Kabul, his American bulldog. Visitation will be Friday, May 15, 2015 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. Funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be Saturday, May 16, 2017 at 9 a.m. at Wilmington Cemetery in Morning View, KY. Memorials may be made to the Christian Motorcycle Association's Run for the Son.
