Obituary of Virginia Breeden

Virginia Fern (nee Lawson) Breeden, of Dry Ridge, KY, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the age of 77. She loved to work and stay busy and worked in customer service for Kmart. Virginia enjoyed gardening, traveling and collecting and visiting Lighthouses. Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family and friends. Virginia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lonnie Breeden; sister, Nora Pope and brother, Kenneth Lawson. She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Hamilton; son, Gary (Christina) Breeden; brother, Charles (Gayle) Lawson; 8 grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation for Virginia will take place on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery. Memorials in Virginia's name are appreciated to St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice, 483 S. Loop Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
