Marjorie Sue Carpenter Schadler, 76, died Friday, August 1, at her home.

She was a homemaker, member of Walton Baptist Church, and enjoyed square dancing, playing cards and spending time with family and friends.
Her husband, Harold Lee Schadler, died in 1987.
Survivors include sons, Samuel J., Troy L. and Steven J. Schadler; sisters, Shirley Lou Cook; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, August 6, with services following at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
