Richard "Dick" Chamberlin, Jr. of Independence, KY passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at his residence. He was a retired plant engineer with Queen City Barrel and was also a member of First Church of Christ in Burlington, KY. Dick enjoyed building model ships and playing the saxophone, he also loved to travel and spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Chamberlin, Sr. and Margaret Chamberlin; sister, Margaret Stokes and first wife, Diane Chamberlin. Dick is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Chamberlin; daughters, Karen Cobb (Gary) and Karina Long (Doug); son, Kevin Chamberlin (Sharon); step-children, Melannie West, Quinn Lawrence (Cherri), Diana Reynolds (Steve), Adam Lawrence and Rosanne Beatty (Greg); 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will take place on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 from 10 AM until the funeral service begins at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence, KY. Interment will follow immediately after at Hopeful Lutheran Church Cemetery in Florence, KY. Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
