Doris May Stewart Prather, 81, of Erlanger passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital of Edgewood. She was a telephone operator for Cincinnati Bell/AT&T and retired after over 30 years. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, flower gardening, but enjoyed spending time with her family the most. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Prather in 2005, brothers Donald Stewart and Manford Stewart, sister Rev. Joyce Capal, and twin sister Dolores Turner. Survivors include her daughter Darlene Jackson; sons Paul Prather, Russ Prather, Jim Prather, and Dave Prather; sisters Betty Graziani and Norma Jean "Maggie" Stewart; brother Ted Wolfe,19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchilden, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 10:30 AM until time of funeral service at 12:30 PM. Burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice 1 Medical Village Drive Suite 213, Edgewood, KY 41017.
