Obituary of J.D. Adams

J.D. Adams, 78, of Erlanger, formerly of Batavia, Ohio, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired union electrician and a member of Greenview Baptist Church, Florence, and Odd Fellows Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Maggie Adams; sons, Garry Adams, Mike Adams, Brian Adams, John Shelton, and James Long; a daughter, Vickie Waymeyer; a brother, John Adams; sisters, Georgie West and Ollie Haney; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at noon Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 10 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
