Obituary of Earnest Palmer

Earnest Lee Palmer, of Union, KY passed away at his residence on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 66. He worked for Oberle Jord as a welder and was a ham radio operator. Earnest enjoyed gunsmithing, motorcycles, and collecting Native American artifacts. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Vicki (nee Haddix) Palmer; daughter, Leeanna Palmer; son, Shane (Joni) Palmer; parents, Harold & Bessie Palmer; brother, Billy Palmer; as well as a total of 10 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation for Earnest will be held from 10:00AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00PM on Friday, August 28, 2015 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. A fellowship/reception will be held immediately following the service at Beaver Lick Baptist Church, 11460 U.S. 42, Union, KY 41091. Memorials in Earnest's name are appreciated to The Humane Society of the United States, 2100 L St., NW, Washington, D.C. 20037.
