Obituary of Nelson Webb

Nelson Lee Webb, age 70, of Independence, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in an automobile accident in Dearborn County, IN. He was born January 25, 1945 to the late G. Nelson and Margaret Webb. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul H. Webb and nephew, Paul Gatewood. He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Schindler (Larry), Myrtle Cooke, and Portia Jump; nephew and nieces, Dr. Carl Queener (Tara), Nancy Fuller (Luther), Debbie Pucket (Jason), and Summer Landrum (Randy). Nelson was a graduate of Oneida Baptist Institute, a member of Piner Baptist Church, a former employee of A.T.& T., and presently was employed as a part-time Driver for R Express. Visitation will be Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Walton. Funeral services will begin Monday at 11 a.m. at Piner Baptist Church. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Erlanger, KY. Memorials may be made to Piner Baptist Church.
