Obituary of Charles Wesley Praither

Charles Wesley Praither, III, age 72, of Warsaw, KY, passed away at his residence, Friday, September 4, 2015. He was a retired Merchant Marine and a wonderful story teller, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Wesley's various careers included his position of District Manager of Rinks Department Store, Butcher at Model Food Store in Walton, KY, Owner of Park Tavern in Big Bone Lick, KY, Owner of Beacon Light in Union, KY, employee of Atlas Concrete, and deckhand at McGinnis Inc.
He is survived by his son, Charles Wesley "Chuck" Praither, IV; daughters, Tanya (Bryan) Wheeler and Ginger (Justin) Dixon; grandchildren, Charles Wesley "Charley" Praither, V, Emma Violet Dixon, and Lyla Maria Dixon; mother, Violet Praither, brothers, John Praither, Paul Praither, Danny (Denise) Praither, and David (Wilma Johnson) Praither; and sisters, Nancy Praither and Carla Praither.
A Gathering of Friends will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence with a Celebration of Life Service to be held immediately following at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to ORSANCO, 5735 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230 for the ongoing cleanup of the Ohio River.
