Obituary of Eula Martin

Eula Ruth Longworth Martin, age 79, of Independence, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2015. She worked for Paul Smith's on the assembly line as well as Abbott Laboratories. Eula attended church and was a member of Florence Church of Christ. She enjoyed collecting dolls and was an excellent seamstress that made baby clothes and accessories. She is preceded in death by her son Robert Martin, sisters Etta and Shirley, and brothers Frank, Jimmy, and John. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, J.D. Martin; daughter Barbara (Gary) Baxter; son James (Emily) Martin; sister LuAnn Bruce; brothers Billy Longworth, Everett Longworth, and Charles Longworth; and three grandchildren. A visitation for Eula will be at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence on Saturday, September 12, 2015 beginning at 9:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30AM. Interment will be at Hopeful Lutheran Church Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Mid-Western Children's Home, 4585 Long-Spurling Rd, Pleasant Plain, OH 45162.
