Obituary of Maureen Vaughan

Maureen F. Elmore Vaughan, age 76, of Union, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a C.P.A. and the owner of Maureen Vaughan Tax Service in Union, KY. Maureen loved to play cards, especially euchre, and to water ski. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved spending time with her family and friends, by whom she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband, Bill Vaughan; son, Billy Vaughan (Missy); daughters, Candy Kirby (Nick Parker) and Teresa Whittle; grandchildren, Austin Vaughn, Holly Vaughan, Hunter Vaughan, and Mycah Woosley; sister, Imogene Pennington; and sister-in-laws, Candy Sue Hurley and Linda Justice. Visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with the funeral service beginning immediately following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
