Obituary of Loretta Eggleston

Loretta Mae Schoborg Eggleston, age 85, of Independence passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Villa Springs Care Center in Erlanger. She was a retired Cook for Kenton County Schools at Kenton Elementary and a member of St. Cecilia Church. Loretta enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Eggleston; son, John Eggleston; daughter, Kathleen Eggleston; brothers, Norb and Joe Schoborg; and sisters, Mary Maus, Delores Bass, Carolyn Petticord, Jenny Hesselman, and Estell Watts. Survivors include her son, William "Bill" Eggleston; daughters, Helen Webster, Mary Eggleston, Barb Armstrong, Dorothy May, Rita Eggleston, Joyce Eggleston, and Christine Harney; sisters, Vera Schmitt, Cecilia Dennis, Lucille Perry, and Martha Rogers; twenty-one grandchildren; and many great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, September 21, 2015 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at St. Cecilia Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 noon at the church. Interment will be at St. Cecilia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Cecilia Church.
