Obituary of Betty Mobley

Betty Jo Mobley, of Independence, KY passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the age of 76. She enjoyed attending Curves in Independence, gardening, baking and traveling. Betty's greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Alden "Bud" Mobley and son, Joe David Mobley. She is survived by her daughter, Loise (Bruce) Ferguson; sons, Robert (Cindy) Mobley, Jeffrey Mobley and Charles (Julie) Mobley; sister, Pat Sears; brother, Jim (Nancy) Sargent; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Interment will immediately follow at Independence Cemetery.
