Allen E. Runion, 74, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Edgewood.

He was a roofer for Brandenburg Roofing and he enjoyed dirt track racing at Florence Speedway and NASCAR.
His wife, Patricia Martin Runion, died previously.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol Lucas; sons, Mike and John Runion; sister, Evelyn Sanlin; brothers, Bill, Joe, Ronnie and Russ Runion; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8, with service following at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Walton. Burial will be in Big Bone Church Cemetery.
