Norman Bransford Gay Sr., 67, of Independence, died Monday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood.
He was a self-employed mover.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Kay Kidwell Gay; a son, Brad Gay; daughters, Becky Simmons and Amy Dever; a brother, Charles Gay; a sister, Edna Jenkins; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Church of God, Covington. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to First Church of God, 524 W. Southern Ave., Covington, Ky. 41015.
