Obituary of Gentry W. Coyle

Gentry W. Coyle, 94, of Wapakoneta, Ohio, died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired farmer and self-employed carpenter, and a member of Baldwin Christian Church and Disabled American Veterans. His wife, Patty Lowery Coyle, died in 1976. Daughters, Aline Coyle, Lena Belle Coyle and Etta J. Lay; and sons, Frank Coyle, Marvin Coyle and Clifford Coyle, also preceded him in death.
Survivors include daughters, Lula Bushong of Covington, Shirley Knox of Latonia, Dorothy Walthers of Florence, Ruth Locke, Virginia Topp, Janet Fredricks and Diane Krites, all of Wapakoneta; sons, Lloyd Coyle of Erlanger, Paul Coyle of Warsaw and Billy Coyle of Covington; sisters, Mary Coyle McCourt of Toledo, Ohio, and Hattie B. McCourt of Florida; brothers, Eula Jean Coyle of Verona, Andrew Coyle and Edmond Coyle, both of Florence and Felix Coyle of Punta Gorda, Fla.; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Floral Hills Cemetery, Taylor Mill.
