Obituary of Vincent J. Kaub

Vincent Nicholas Kaub, of Independence, died Monday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence. He was a retired manager with Cincinnati Bell, a former employee of Florence Consolidated and a member of St. Cecilia Church, Independence. He was a member of the church finance committee, cemetery board and chairman of the Labor Day festival, a member of the Knights of Columbus and Pioneers of America. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Schoborg Kaub; a son, Kim Vincent Kaub of Houston; a daughter, Dr. Linda Kaub Madyda of Merritt Island, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Cecilia Church. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Independence.
