WALTON �" Amos Lawson Jr., 77, died Saturday, Sept. 27, at Woodcrest Manor, Elsmere. Advertisement He was a heavy equipment operator for Cincinnati Gas & Electric, a Korean War Army veteran, member of New Banklick Baptist Church, and enjoyed University of Kentucky basketball, shooting trap trap shooting and hunting. His wife, E.P. Dolly Lawson, died in 2002. Survivors include daughter, Regina Kay LeDoux; son, John M. Lawson; brother, Walter Howard Lawson; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today, Monday, Sept. 29, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, at the funeral home. Memorials: Disabled American Veterans, 3725 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring, KY 41076.
