Obituary of Helen McCormack

Helen Margaret Stevens McCormack, age 95, of Madeira, OH, passed away, Monday, January 25, 2016 at Cold Spring Transitional Care Center in Cold Spring, KY. She was a retired Secretary for Paxton Beautiful Woods in Madeira and a member of Madeira Silverwood Presbyterian Church. Helen formerly worked for Standard Brands and Imbus Lumber and was also a big Cincinnati Reds and University of Kentucky Wildcats fan. She was a member of the first graduating class of Simon Kenton High School in 1938. Her husband, Thomas J. McCormack and brother, Robert Stevens preceded her in death. She is survived by niece, Rebecca Russo (Tony); nephew, Don Stevens; and great nieces and nephews, Meredith Russo, Lauren Stevens, Nicholas Stevens, Charles Stevens, Anna Stevens, and Lilly Stevens. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with services immediately following at 12 noon at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
