Obituary of Carol Nance

Carol "Sue" Bowlin Nance, 56, of Independence, died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Medical Center South, Edgewood. She was a utility coordinator with Mazak Corp. A son, Demetrius Nance, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Nance; sons, Ronnie Nance Jr. of Borden, Ind., Jeffery Nance and Anthony Pierson, both of Independence, Steven Adkins of Chillicothe, Ohio, and Tommy Pierson of Walton; daughters, Ronnette Frazier of Borden, Ind., Deanne Theising of St. Croix, Ind., Tina Calautti of Borden, Stacie Nance of Independence, Tammy Kerr of Warsaw, Deanna Williams of Florence and Amanda Nance of Burlington; her mother, "Sis" Jo Chapman of Walton; brothers, Blevins Bowlin of Union and Billy Bowlin of LaGrange; a sister, Edna Kittrell of Walton; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
