Obituary of Margaret Bachmeyer

Margaret Ann Shaw Bachmeyer, of Florence passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at her residence. She was a housewife, an active member of Walton United Methodist Church, a volunteer at St. Luke Hospital in Florence for over 28 years and a volunteer at Greater Cincinnati Airport for over 16 years. Margaret Ann was vivacious and enjoyed staying active with jazzercising, golfing, square dancing and traveling. She, and her husband Dick, were adventurous and loved to travel and share new experiences. Survivors include her husband (of nearly 64 years), Dr. Richard Wesley, Sr; daughter, Barbara Sue Edmonds (Doug) of Lynchburg, VA; son, Richard Wesley Bachmeyer, Jr. (Robin) of King, NC; sister, Barbara Hutras (Bill) of Dover, OH; and grandchildren, Olivia Bachmeyer and Ellie Bachmeyer. A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence with a memorial service immediately following at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery.
