Obituary of Roberta Weghorn

Roberta June Kruse Weghorn, 72, of Florence, died Tuesday at St. Luke Hospital West, Florence.
She was a retired cashier for Burns Brothers Truck Stop, a member of Florence Christian Church, and a former Boone County Band Booster.
A daughter, Vicki Perry, preceded her in death in 1999.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Chester Weghorn; sons, Thomas Martin "Marty" Weghorn of Plainfield, Ill., and Ryan Weghorn of Florence; a daughter, Beverly Weghorn of Florence; a sister, Leona "Tootie" Sickman of Rising Sun, Ind.; three grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Florence. Visitation will begin there at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Belleview Bottoms Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, Ky. 41017; or the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, Va. 22038-1131.
