Obituary of Judith Compton

Judith Ann Compton, 65, of Riverside, Ill., formerly of Ryland Heights, died Thursday, Nov. 6, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood.
She was a legal secretary for Katten, Muchin, Rosenman, L.L.P., owned an organic cookie company and was an animal advocate.
Survivors include her father, Eddie Glenn Compton of Ryland Heights; brothers, Eddie "Butch" Compton of Ryland Heights, James "Jimmy" Compton of Orlando, Fla., and Larry Compton of Burlington; and sister, Jeanne Koopman of Union.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Private burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Taylor Mill.
