Obituary of Darrell Campbell

Darrell Edward Campbell, age 72, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. He was a retired Truck Driver for RRR Express, a retired U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the V.F.W. His mother and step-father, Josephine and Dale Addison; sister, Edith Marie Manes; brothers, Bill Martin and Tom Martin; and grandson T.J. Mitchell, all preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Carol Johnson Campbell; daughters, Lisa Shannon, Caren Arrowsmith, Tracy Abdon, Nancy Jo Bronner, and April Collins; son, Josh Collins; twenty-four grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with services beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Interment with military honors will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
