Judith "Judy" Ann Horn Denney, 70 a beloved lifelong resident of Walton, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 22, 2016 at Villa Springs in Erlanger, KY due to a fall. She was born at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lexington, KY, on August 19th, 1945. Judy was a member of Walton Christian Church, a former employee of Rouse & Mathis law firm of Walton, KY. She worked there as one of the firm's secretaries. Judy was well known by lawyers and judges throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and she was famous for her beautiful calligraphy work. Many of the children she cared for stayed in contact with her through the years. She was a wonderful cook and loved working in her kitchen formulating her own recipes. Judy always had a desire to attend the Le Cordon Bleu cooking school in Paris, France. She loved to travel to The Inn at Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge, TN. Judy dearly loved her granddaughter, Maddy, and loved spending time with her. One of her biggest passions was being a Cincinnati Reds fan, preferring to listen to the game on the radio just like she had done with her own grandfather. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and niece who was well loved by all who knew her. Her daughter, Anna, remarked, "she was a wonderful mother who will be greatly missed. She was our world and our everything." She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Robert Clay Horn, and Rose Anna Bickers Horn, and her beloved uncle, Carl Bickers.
