Dear sweet family, Travis and I are so sorry to hear of your immense loss and want you to know our hearts mourn for you. I have fond memories of you guys ministering to me long before I "came back" to Jesus. Thank you for sharing your love so easily. I loved greeting Billie (and you too Mr. Bridges) every Sunday morning and will always hold that close to my heart. She was always such a gentle spirit and encouraged me so often in my walk. I have a book she gave me w/a little note inside I've always treasured. Know we will be praying for you...that our Father wrap His arms around you and comfort you.

My first memory of Billie, if from 25 years ago when Matt was an injured almost two years old in the hospital. She sent him a package of little plastic farm animals and a get well card telling him that although he didn't know her, she was in his mamaw's Sunday School class and that she was praying for him. Her gesture touched me very much. I was soon to learn that sending cards was a part of the way Billie ministered to others. She and Wendel have been good friends to my parents and I an grateful that I had the chance to see her just a few weeks ago. My prayers for God's comfort for all the family. Thankful that great reunion is yet to come. Sincerely, Danita Powell
