Obituary of Richard Kitchen

Richard "Rick" Norman Kitchen, Jr., age 69, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his residence in Burlington. He was born to the late Richard Sr. and Katherine (Williams) on December, 15, 1946 in Covington, KY.
Rick is a United States Veteran and served his country in the Army. He retired after 40 years, from Aristech Acrylics in 2012, where he worked as a lead man. Rick had many hobbies including riding motorcycles and fishing, but most of all, spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was also a member of KBA, American Legion Post #4, and Ralph Fulton VFW Post #6423.
Rick was an easy going, joyful, kind hearted man that always had a smile on his face and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Sharon "Sissy" Williams.
Rick is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Rose "Rosie" Kitchen; daughter, Amy Browning; sons, Stephen (Kim) Kitchen and Brian (Ashley Chischilly) Kitchen; sister's, Susan (Melvin) Downey and Katie (Roy) Marksberry; grandchildren, Jackson, Harrison, Kennedy, Grant, Trent, Nova, and Knox; sister and brother in law, Cathy and Chris Brehl; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
A visitation for Rick will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4PM until 8PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. The Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 27, 2016 beginning at 12PM, also at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown.
