Obituary of Juanita McKinley

Juanita Jeannine McKinley, a lifelong resident of Independence, KY passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born on March 7, 1930; the daughter of Frederick and Claretta Requardt. Jeannine was a homemaker and member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ray McKinley; sisters, Roberta Bramlage and Mary Margaret Groger and brother, Clarence "Buddy" Requardt. Jeannine is survived by her daughters, Karen (Joe) Baker, Cindy (Earl) Owens, RaeJean (Kent) Weaver and Melissa (Dave) Boyers; sons, Danny (Gayle) McKinley, Richard (Linda) McKinley and Chris (Kitty) McKinley; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends. Visitation for Jeannine will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Burial will immediately follow at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials in Jeannine's name may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
