Obituary of Lee Roy Cook

Lee Roy E. Cook, 75, died Thursday, Dec. 25, at his home. He was an electrician with Local Union 212, an Army veteran and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. His daughter, Cindy Cook, died in 1992. Survivors include his wife, Carol Dugan Cook; daughters, Paula Melton of Morning View, Cathy Cox and Sherry Henderson of Independence; son, Michael L. Cook of Independence; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. No public services. The body will be cremated. Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements.
